Our Philosophy

Our learning environment reflects the following mission, vision, and values below,
and our teachers and staff will carefully guide each child through one developmental level to another,
leading to an increased sense of competence and independence.

We aim to provide quality care
and education to our children, and accommodate our busy working
families with flexibility and
support during their
child’s educational journey.

We strive to foster a diverse and inclusive
community focused on family value
and cultural backgrounds
starting at an early age.

We achieve to create a safe and nurturing
environment that addresses the cognitive,
emotional, social, and development
skills of every child.

Our children will not only flourish and develop
holistic skills, early literacy, and numeracy,
but will also capture their unique identities and
personalities through our creative curriculum
and play-based learning.

We believe family comes first:
”Your Family is Our Family”.
We believe in encouraging our children’s
individuality, curiosity, and social development.

We believe in the premise that children
learn by doing, and if given stimulating, exciting,
and real life experiences in a warm and
loving environment, they will increase
their self-awareness, develop sensitivity to
themselves and others, and solve
creative challenges.

“We CARE about Our Families.”
We believe in:

  • Possessing openness and transparency with our families to effectively communicate; promoting teamwork in our community to ensure our children’s readiness; and encouraging imagination and problem-solving abilities through a fun, expressive learning environment.

  • Students managing tasks independently through decision-making; acknowledging their hard work and compassion through gratitude; and building confidence by guaranteeing a safe, trusting atmosphere.

  • Being considerate and thoughtful of others, while celebrating diversity; creating a foundation for independence by holding ourselves accountable to reach common goals; and embracing integrity to instill positive behavior and character development.

  • Our faculty and staff’s ability to motivate active participation and involvement in learning activities; promoting a growth mindset and striving for personal best; and cultivating understanding and compassion towards others, so that our children may thrive and develop social-emotional skills.

Our History

Cinderella School has been serving the local community since 1975, guaranteeing a family-filled environment not only for the children, but also the parents. We are dedicated to providing children at an early age the best quality care and education.

After migrating from Cuba to Miami in 1971, Hilda Vila set out to continue her career as a Kindergarten Teacher. Quickly realizing the need for quality care for children at an early age, she established a school that would focus on family values and form close relationships between parents and educators. In 1975, at the corner of West 23rd Street and 12th Avenue, with a licensed capacity of 12 children, Cinderella School was established and began providing quality education in a safe, healthy and positive atmosphere. Fast forward, reaching its 50 year milestone, the Vila Family keeps her legacy alive by continuing to provide a warm, supportive environment where every child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual development is a priority.
